Early in the morning on 2 January in Chicago killed two children after the woman had first stabbed his grandfather, and then jumped out of the window of the 11th floor.
Police said it is investigating «heartbreaking incident» as an attempted murder-suicide, though the motive is still unknown.
20-year-old woman and a year-old boy was found about 2 a.m. Thursday on the ground near a tall building in South Shore Drive.
The security officers then found the apartment on the 11th floor of a 2-year-old boy, who was unconscious, and grandfather of the suspect. According to police, the baby in the tub was scalded, and on his head was «lacerations».
The victim told patrol that his granddaughter had hit him, before jumping out the window.
A man and a woman were hospitalized in critical condition at University of Chicago Medical Center. Both survived.
According to sources, the police have the video that shows how the child and his mother fall to the ground in seconds.
A family friend said the woman and about 10 other family members moved last week. He also admitted that the news of the death of the boys «broke his heart».

«This is a loving family,» added friend of the suspect.
A family friend also said that the death of children — not only the tragedy of the family over the years.
According to him, in the summer of 2018, three members of the family, including the brother of the woman, were injured near the house on Parnell Avenue.
