A body found in a truck in California, belongs to 29-year-old woman missing 2 months ago

The body of a woman who disappeared almost two months ago, was found in an abandoned basement in a truck U-Haul.

29-year-old Ashley manning was found dead on Friday, January 10, in the vault of the Fullerton (CA), reported the news service of the KCBS. The body was wrapped in cardboard and then wrapped plastic sheeting and duct tape.

Her family reported the disappearance after 13 November, she flew from Dallas to Los Angeles. According to police, the truck was rented by an unknown person that left him in Anaheim. The rental company found the car and delivered it back to the store.

«After they took the truck, they brought him here in Fullerton, to conduct an inventory of the contents of the truck, said Anaheim police Sergeant Shane Carringer. — During the search they found human remains».

The police calls the cause of death manning, but considers it suspicious.

«We don’t call it murder, — said Carringer. — The circumstances in which the body was found, of course, suspicious.»

The sister of the deceased Taylor confirmed her death on Friday in a post on Facebook.

«As a family, we try to cope with this tragedy in this extremely difficult time», — stated in the message.
