Mysterious death: body missing in December the teenager found in the chimney of an abandoned house

More than three-week search for a missing teenager from Ohio, Harley dilly, who was tragically ended in Monday night after his body was found in the chimney of a vacant house in Port Clinton.

The police chief of Port Clinton, Rob Hickman said in a press conference that the body, which, presumably, belongs to dilly, was found in the chimney of a vacant house at 507 Fulton Street. This home is located across the street from the home of the family of a missing teenager.

According to Hickman, the investigators believe that the death of dilly was an accident, and are awaiting autopsy results.

Ashlynn dilly, the elder sister Harley, who lives outside of Ohio, told the media that it was the police came and reported the death of his brother.

On Tuesday, January 15, the Prosecutor’s office of Ohio has removed from its website information about Harley dilly as missing.

According to witnesses, on Monday evening at the scene, law enforcement officers dismantled part of the wall of the house, where he found Harley.

14-year-old dilly was last seen around 6 a.m. on Friday, December 20, when he went to school. He was on camera when he crossed the street in front of his house.

«We are either broken, but we know that we have made every effort to find Harley. In addition to law enforcement, it sought more than 120 volunteers,» — said the Prosecutor of the state of Ohio Dave Yost.

The investigation is ongoing. The police have so far not voiced assumptions of how the teenager got into the chimney.
