41-year-old Kobe Bryant will be accepted in the basketball Hall of fame the Naismith memorial, bypassing the normal election process after the helicopter crash that killed him and his daughter and seven other people on Board.
The tragedy occurred in California on Sunday, January 25.
To get into the Hall of fame, a player must retire for three full seasons. Bryant does not play in 2016 and probably would have been immortalized in April but the jury refused to vote in the ordinary way.
