The bus traveling from Los Angeles, opened fire. 1 dead, 5 wounded

According to state highway patrol, one person was killed and five were wounded in a shooting in the bus, which was traveling through California, reports NBC News. Transport, carrying about 40 passengers, was heading from Los Angeles to San Francisco.

The shooting started Monday at about 1:30 a.m. when the bus was moving North on interstate 5 near the town of Lebec, located North of Los Angeles. After the gunman opened fire, the bus driver stopped and «was able to convince arrow» to go. The suspect voluntarily left the bus and left arms. Soon arriving officers found him on the street and, without being taken into custody.

According to local media, Sheriff of Kern County and the fire Department immediately responded to the incident near Lebeca. In the photos from the scene shows the bus parked at the Valero gas station at the base of the freeway. According to the highway patrol, the corpse was left in the bus, while investigators were patrolling the scene.

The perpetrator, whose identity at that time was not installed, was immediately arrested by local law enforcement. The motives of the gunman police are unknown. All the victims in the shooting were immediately hospitalized. At this the police has no information about their condition.

According to the representative of the California highway patrol Steve Loftus, «the situation is stable and no threat.»
