The Australian, who suffered burns to most of his body during the eruption of the volcano on White island in New Zealand, came out of the coma and learned that her husband and daughter died.
According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Lisa Dollar was in a medical coma in the Alfred hospital in Melbourne after the tragedy on 9 December.
The eruption killed 21 people, including her husband, 53-year-old Gavin Dallow and the only daughter of a pair of 15-year-old Zoe Hosking.
The funeral of Gavin, Dollar took place on 10 January before 600 mourners, while his wife was still in a coma.

According to reports news network the funeral of their daughter have not yet occurred.
The family was on the tour of the island during a day trip, arriving on a cruise ship Royal Caribbean Ovation of the Seas. As Dellosa, most tourists were Australian.
Press Secretary of the Alfred hospital reported that the woman is in serious but stable condition.
