A police detective of new York, committed suicide at his mother’s house

Police detective in new York committed suicide on Monday, February 17, at his mother’s house in Queens.

53-year-old Paul Federico was hung up in the house on 79th Street in Middle village.

The officer, who worked for many years in the Department of communication, was declared dead at the scene.
According to sources, he didn’t leave a note.

«His wife shouted, — said 53-year-old resident of the district, Mario Kustera. She said: «Why my husband did it?»»

Sources DAILY NEWS reported that Federico had recently been suspended from duty and took away his weapons. The reason for this decision is unknown.

The police had two adult children. He also has a brother Anthony, an employee of the police Department Rockwellesque center on long island.

This case is the first suicide this year involving a police officer in new York. Last year, 10 police officers committed suicide, prompting the user to increase the psychological help among employees.
