As eyewitnesses reported, Bob Neill was hit by a car travelling at high speed, after the man shoved the two boys out of the way. The incident occurred on Tuesday in Kansas city (Kansas).

«He saved two of our students today, said school Director Kathy Titian in an interview on KSHB-TV. – They would not be with us if Bob heroically intervened, and we thank him and at the same time very saddened. He worked with us for five years, and it was a great time. The students loved him very much, he always cared about their safety. When the street was covered with ice, he always came to us and reported this, saw to it that the children did not fall. He was always thinking about the kids more than ourselves. Our entire school is praying for the family of Bob Neill and his soul.»

After the accident’neill was taken to University of Kansas Medical Center in critical condition, but, unfortunately, to save the man’s life failed and he died in hospital.

The representative of police of Kansas city Jonathan Westbrook, said Tuesday morning that it was too early to speak about causes of the tragedy.

It is only known that the driver was also taken to the hospital, and that he was cooperating with the investigation.
