Family owes their lives to his beloved parrot.

When the house very early in the morning the fire started, and the family still sound asleep, they were awakened by their pet parrot, Louis, who began to shout «fire!» Surprisingly, Louis never uttered the word, but was able to use it in the right situation.

«Louis is a hero» — told the news edition of the Southwest News Service (SWNS) Barbara Klein of Lebanon, tn, USA. «If not for him, I probably would have continued to sleep during a fire. He began to shout «fire». As I recall, he never uttered this word. When I woke up, the fire began to spread on the living room floor».

Unfortunately, he is Louis and Pets the family dog did not survive the fire. Husband of Barbara and her 6-year-old granddaughter survived, though the husband of Barbara Larry was hospitalized.

«He ran to the kitchen and tried to extinguish the fire with water,» said Barbara news newspaper-Southwest News Service. «After we ran out, he ran back into the house to save our puppies and the guitar of his father. He was screaming that he can’t breathe, and I asked him to leave the house. I told him to get down, and he crawled out. I pulled him from the fire. Then we got in the car and drove up the driveway».

As she later told Larry, «burned my hands, face and nose and had to clean out his lungs. They put him down. It’s a miracle that he survived.»

Fortunately, Larry was able to leave the hospital and attend a party on the occasion of the birth of a granddaughter.

Although the family needs to find a new home, they say it helps the local community. People help them in every way we can. «People help us with clothing, and some even allowed us to stay in their own property apartment 3 months»,- said the woman. «The man who gave us the apartment, gave us a little parrot. We call him Louie Jr.».
