Florida police several times shot a burglar who broke into her house with an axe.
The incident happened on Tuesday around 17:30 in Apopka when the police were at home with their children. According to the orange County Sheriff John Mina, a burglar tried to enter not only in this house and used an ax to break through the door of the employee of police.
When police saw the man, who broke down her door, she immediately reacted, as he feared for his life and the lives of children. Mina says that despite the fact that she shot, the man was still trying to enter her house.
The policewoman struggled with the robber and managed to handcuff him, and then on the scene arrived several police officers. The offender was taken to the clinic at Orlando Health, and he is expected to survive. He was charged in the burglary.
