Uber driver in a coma after being attacked by passengers

Several men are wanted in connection with the attack on the Upper East side to the Uber driver who fell into a coma.

The incident occurred on February 5 at 4:25 a.m. at the corner of East 62nd Street and Second Avenue. 56-year-old taxi driver picked up five young men outside a nightclub in Queens Privileged.

Soon between the driver and the passengers began to argue, which escalated into a fight about the car.

Then one of the men punched the driver in the face, knocking him off his feet. All five fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Medics took the driver to the medical center Weill Cornell with severe head trauma, where he was placed in an artificial coma. Currently he is in critical but stable condition, according to police.

The suspects are still wanted.
