When their plane crashed into a tree, father, son, and dog «miraculously» didn’t get a scratch

Father, son and their dog could easily die when their small plane crashed into a tree near the airport in Florida but miraculously survived, «don’t get any scratches».

The incident occurred on Saturday morning, March 7. 6-seater aircraft Beech Bonanza crashed at about 10:00, not far from the runway Destin Executive Airport. According to police, the engine of the aircraft was faulty — and he almost crashed through a nearby building, crashed into a tree near Main Street.

On Board were 47-year-old Jason Doherty of Salina (KS), 22-year-old Caleb Dougherty, and their Labrador. Father and son flew to Florida on vacation — which could be fatal, if not for the incredible luck of the family.

The owner of the house, near which the wreck occurred, said that they found the effects of the incident, and the good Samaritans that helped Doherty to get out of the plane after returning from a morning jog.

«I was on my way to home, when I saw through the fence climb over people. — says the woman claiming to be Mickey I said, «What’s going on?», and they said that they have in the back yard plane. <…> A miracle no one was hurt.»

At the moment, the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident.
