A pregnant woman died after falling from the wall between Mexico and the United States

According to authorities, on Saturday, the 19-year-old pregnant, a native of Guatemala, died after he fell trying to climb the border wall between the U.S. and Mexico.

Mirian Giron Stephanie Moon, which, as expected, was eight months pregnant, was with his partner when he fell from a height of 19 feet torn from the wall near El Paso, say American and Guatemalan authorities in Texas. Reported by the New York Post.

The girl and her child were declared dead at a local hospital shortly after the incident. The future mother had a brain hemorrhage, fracture of the pelvis, ruptures of the liver and kidneys.

According to Customs and border service of the USA, the smugglers dropped off a pregnant woman and her partner, who is believed to have been the father of the child, on the border, before she tried to climb it.

Chief CBP in El Paso, Gloria Chavez, said that the Agency works in tandem with the Mexican authorities, «to find those who will be responsible for the fact that they put those lives in danger.»

According to Tikanga Paniagua Flores, Guatemalan Consul in Del Rio, Texas, a partner of Giron in custody CBP.

«The man [the partner of the deceased a pregnant girl and the baby’s father] said that if he knew the risks so high, he would have refused this idea», said Paniagua.
