Granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy was tragically killed 8-year-old son when capsized their canoe

Rescuers found the body of Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKeen, daughter of the former Governor of Maryland, and granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedythat went missing with her son after last week in the waters of the Chesapeake Bay capsized their canoe.

The Department of natural resources Maryland reported that rescue teams found her body at about 17:30 PM Monday, April 6. The body was in the water 2.5 miles from the house mother Maeve in shady Side (Maryland) , South of Annapolis.

40-year-old Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKeen was the daughter of the former Governor of Maryland Kathleen Kennedy Townsend and granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy, shot in 1968.

According to her husband, Dave McKean, they came to Maryland during the quarantine, the children to have more opportunities to spend time in the nature than in Washington (D. C.). Maeve with 8-year-old son Gideon was playing ball when he fell into the water. When Maeve and Gideon was trying to get his canoe, took them out of the Bay in the Chesapeake Bay.

The canoe was found upside down many miles from the place where they were last seen. The search for the boy continues. From Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKeen left a 7-year-old daughter, Gabrielle and 2 year old son Toby.

Hundreds of postcards with words of condolence people hung on the tree near the house Mackinaw in the U.S. capital.

The death of Maeve and Gideon was another tragedy in the Kennedy clan. Some Americans believe that this family is a curse. For the past 80 years in the family of a former U.S. President killed more than two dozen people.
