Video: Florida man shot three armed robbers who broke into the house

These guys obviously did not expect such a turn of events.

In Neptune beach (Florida) the owner of the house opened fire on armed robbers. It happened on Tuesday evening and got on a surveillance camera.

On video it is visible that three young men climb the stairs to the second floor and penetrate into the room. They are within about eight seconds when you can hear at least five shots.

Police told channel News4Jax that the owner of the house, a grown man grabbed a gun and fired.

After a few seconds the three men ran out of the front door. One of them jumps off second-floor balcony to the sidewalk below.

Police released photos of the vehicles and the suspects few hours after the shooting.

Shortly after the hacking attempt one of the men appeared in the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the chest. The other two are on the run.

«This is a terrible situation — said the expert on criminal safety Ken Jefferson, a former detective from the Sheriff’s office in Jacksonville. — The landlord understands that he has the right to defend himself, he pulls out his gun and starts shooting. He has every reason for that.»

Resident of Neptune beach, who opened fire, not charged any charges.
