In Los Angeles the driver lost control of the car: the car «took off» and crashed into building (photos)

At the weekend, the car driver lost control, drove into a suburban home in Los Angeles.

The family was asleep at his home in Rowland Heights, about 25 miles East of downtown Los Angeles (California), when the Toyota Camry got knocked up at the driveway, «took off» and crashed into the wall of the house.

As reported by the California highway patrol (California Highway Patrol — CHP), fortunately, no one in the house was injured when the car crashed into the wall of the living room and kitchen.

The driver and the passenger «Toyotas» run away from the scene. As it turned out, the car was stolen, reported missing by its owner. As of Monday evening, 20 April, no arrests have been made.

«Here is the answer to many questions why even the quarantine must act with speed restrictions», — reads the statement of the CHP about the incident.

In March this year, in the County of Los Angeles has observed a 35% increase in the number of tickets issued for speeding (over 100 mph), in comparison with March, 2019.

Statewide, the number of fines increased by 41%, from 1233 in March 2019 to 1743 last month.
