It'll Be Pizza employee arrested for hiding blades in pizza dough

A former employee of a pizza dough company was arrested after he was allegedly caught shoving razor blades into a dough sold at a supermarket.

Police identified Nicholas R. Mitchell, 38, as the man caught on camera in a store in New Hamshire, Maine. The footage shows Mitchell opening the packaging of Portland Pie Pizza's groceries before placing the razor blades into it.

According to the officers, the man previously worked for the dough company It'll Be Pizza. His act came to light after a customer who bought pizza dough at the Hannaford supermarket in Sako discovered a blade inside.

Mitchell was arrested on Monday. His motives are still unknown.

Due to the incident, Hannaford Supermarkets have recalled all Portland Pie pizza dough that went on sale between August 1 and October 11.
