In Brooklyn, two men threatened to Lynch interracial couple

Anna, originally from Moldova, and John from Trinidad faced by offenders on the day of his anniversary. (The couple asked not to name their names).

Anna and John parked the car and crossed the road at the intersection of E. 17th St. and Ave. R in Sheepshead Bay, when Bernard Serant and Rudolf Eremenko blocked their path. They attacked the couple, insulting, threatening, beating and lynching.

Drunken hooligans immediately got into a fight because John was much larger than both of them. A former boxer wanted to avoid the brawl. According to him, «they repeatedly threatened the alleged gun, and it’s maddening». At some point, both the bully has attacked the victim, trying to beat it. Anna says that he could not just stand by and watch it happen, so tried to intervene.

John said that he was «very worried for her friend, as she jumped into the thick of things».

When the woman tried to call 911, one of the attackers, Avramenko, knocked the phone from her hand and pounced on Anna. The fight is interrupted by arrival of police.

Even during the arrest one of the attackers continued to threaten with punishment the dark skinned law enforcement.

Officers detained Suranto and Avramenko for threats and disturbing the peace.

Prior to this incident Durant was arrested 23 times for theft. In October 2015, he was arrested for attempted strangulation sisters.

The second attacker was taken into custody in July 2016 for possession.

The court exempted offenders under the condition that they will stay away from Anna and John. According to the couple: «It is an ordeal only brought us together, but changed the Outlook on life».
