Police looking for man who drew about 30 swastikas in the fresh cement along Newkirk Avenue in Midwood, where many representatives of the Jewish community of new York.
Surveillance cameras recorded as the dark-haired man with a flashlight purposefully and methodically draws a swastika on the still frozen cement.
A member of the democratic party in Brooklyn, Dov Hikind, claims that the man in the video had this planned in advance.
«Apparently, it’s not a momentary impulse, he wanted to do it, he was drawing for 35 minutes. The swastika is the ultimate symbol of hatred,» said Hikind.
Local residents believe the incident «disgusting.»
«This is awful, my grandmother survived the Holocaust, and we live across the street,» said Brooklyn Daniel Bechtel.
Police unit new York for crimes motivated by hatred are investigating the incident. Militiamen assume that the offender is likely, teenager.
«I am confident that the perpetrator of this crime of hate will be caught,» added Hikind.
