Brooklyn man tried to commit two rapes per hour

Police believe that after two attempts of sexual attacks in Brooklyn, committed on Thursday night, there is one and the same person.

The first attack occurred at about 2:30 in an apartment building near Lincoln Place and Albany Avenue. When 22-year-old girl opened the door of his apartment, a man jumped out of the hallway and pushed her. He then began to threaten the victim with a knife and tried to rape her. However, the woman did not panic – she kicked her attacker and was able to use pepper spray. After that, the suspect ran away.

After about an hour in the police Department of Brooklyn received another similar statement. 32-year-old woman came to his house on Dean Street and Nostrand Avenue, and a man followed her. When she stepped out of the Elevator, the assailant put his hand on her lips and then tried to rape a woman. But she was able to push him away, after which the suspect fled from the scene. Both women were not injured.

The guards are sure that the crimes tried to make one and the same person. Police have published a video with surveillance cameras, where they believe the suspect captured.
