A day at Kissena Corridor Park attacked two women

Police responded to a call received from a local hospital from 17-year-old girl. She stated that on Wednesday, around 23:30 in Kissena Corridor Park she was attacked by the unknown.
According to the police report, a man armed with a knife, dragged her into the bushes, away from potential witnesses and cameras, and then raped.

While the injured girl was treated at New York Presbyterian Hospital Queens, the assailant fled.

The case is investigated by the special unit of the NYPD.

The suspect , a male of 30 years, according to the police, held in custody, the charges against him are pending. His name was not disclosed.

The man may be linked to another attackcommitted in the same Park the day before.
On Tuesday, at about 23:00 the 32-year-old woman went through Kissena Corridor Park when she was attacked by a man with a knife and demanded money.

The woman gave him $50, but it was not enough. The man dragged her into bushes and raped her.
Police are investigating both crimes.
