In Queens the bus knocked down a pedestrian

A young pedestrian was killed during a tragic accident in Queens. A city bus was hit by 25-year-old Kevin Zenga when he tried to catch up with its own skate.

The incident took place Friday night on Union turnpike, near the Grand Central Parkway. Around 18:30 the vehicle was traveling South in the right lane of the highway as the victim was walking on the sidewalk on the opposite side with a skateboard in his hands.

Suddenly the Board fell from his hand, Senga and rolled, being in the path of the bus. A young man ran into the roadway, hoping that in time to catch her, but instead found himself under the wheels — the driver tried to avoid a pedestrian, but to avoid collision it was not possible.

When rescuers arrived, Zeng was lying on the road with visible signs of traumatic brain injury and showed no signs of life. He was taken to the hospital Janaki, where doctors pronounced him dead.

The driver remained at the scene until the police arrive. At this stage of the investigation, the reasons for his arrest have not been revealed.
