As PIX11 reported, citing police information, an unknown man with a machete attacked a pregnant woman in Brooklyn.
The attack occurred at a building on Church Ave. near E. 96th Street in East Flatbush at about 7 a.m. Sunday.
Police say 22-year-old pregnant woman (the identity of which were not disclosed) came into the fight with 57-year-old by Brenton Harry, after he tried to hit her with his machete in the face. Fortunately, the man stopped, no apparent injuries the woman received.
The offender was detained arrived to the crime scene by the police. The detainee is charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the life of the victim.
The pregnant victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
