Yesterday, July 27, died in hospital lapsed into a coma 6-year-old Owen Schmidt. He was the eldest child of the family Schmidt of Beecher, Illinois.
A terrible accident happened Monday morning on Yates Avenue and Corning Road – where has faced truck pick-up under the control of the 25-year-old boy and the SUV, who was 29-year-old Lindsay Schmidt. Besides her, in the SUV were her sons – year-old Caleb, 4-year-old Weston and 6-year-old Owen. Lindsay with her youngest son died on the spot, Weston and Owen was hospitalized in critical condition.

The Sheriff’s office later confirmed that Lindsay was pregnant.

First Community Bank and Trust has established the donation Fund for the family, and hundreds of residents came on the night service to honor the memory of the victims.
