In Mahopac, state of new York, the gray Fox attacked a woman last night, August 5, and then followed her home.
As has told Daily Voice Рutnam County Sheriff Рutnam, the woman was in her yard on Agor Lane, when from the forest a Fox came and attacked her, biting ankle to the blood.
The victim ran to the house, but the Fox ran after her. In the house at this moment were children. Mother managed to call 911 and escape with the children, locking the Fox in the house.
The call came the Sheriff, the employees of the Department to control wild animals and the doctors. The victim received first aid and was hospitalized. And the Fox caught her hiding behind the cabinets in the kitchen. The animal is subjected to euthanasia and tested for rabies.
«Yes, it is very unusual that the Fox got into the house, but as long as there is no test results, one can argue that it is rabid,» says specialist Cricket Dickman. «Perhaps she ran after the small pet animals».
