This morning, around 10:45, just one block from the Park, Madison square disaster happened: industrial climber who was cleaning a window on the twelfth floor, fell down.

As reported by the new York police Department, it happened because of faulty equipment. Locking carabiner, which is attached to a safety harness of the climber suddenly broke.

56-year-old man flew six floors before landing in the courtyard of the house. This 13-storey building belongs to one of the largest US real estate agencies – The Moinian Group.

The victim was lying face down in a puddle of blood when he was approached by the employee, 25-year-old Nelson Shenbrot. He is engaged in software development on the seventh floor.

The young man immediately called 911. The Manager advised him to turn the climber back and make the man heart massage until the police arrive.

The victim’s condition did not change. He was taken to medical center Bellevue Hospital, where doctors announced that he was dead.

Police said that the victim’s name will be kept confidential as long as the officers will be in touch with the family of the deceased.

At the moment we only know that he had a Latin American origin.
