This morning’s rush hour turned out to be a real challenge for any poor soul who decided to get to work on 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 subway lines. MTA reports that delays in the subway work on several lines responsible «outsider» found on the tracks at 14th Street. One passenger posted pictures and video to Twitter with the same man.

By 8:40 a.m. trains are not shuttled in the directions between South Ferry and 42nd Street Times Square. In a southerly direction 1, 2 and 3 trains stop at 34th Street Penn, and two other trains were redirected to the 5 line between Nevins St and 1149 St-Grand Concourse.

On 72nd Street on the Upper West Side passengers were stranded when they were asked to leave the station and they had to call a taxi to find a bus or walk to another metro station.

One of the passengers on 125th Street told that their train had to stop, the conductor announced power outage on 14th Street because a stranger on the ways in which the police tried to catch.

At 9:00 in the MTA announced that the subway resumes with «significant delays.» Also the office confirmed that «a man was on the tracks South of 14th Street and tried to touch the third rail, but we shut off the electricity». Unknown was taken into custody at 8:35 am.

Later the representative of the NYPD said that the man received no injuries but was taken to Bellevue Hospital for examination, according to Gothamist.
