The bloody tragedy took place yesterday, Saturday, in Hempstead (long island). Three women were found dead in a house on Perry Street.
The suspect was detained the same day. He was a member of the family of the slain 34 – year-old Bobby Vanderhill.
«He is charged with murdering his mother, 58 — year-old Lynn Vanderholm, sisters – 29-year-old Melissa Vanderwall and friend of the family — 29-year-old Janel Simpson,» reported ABC7 police Lieutenant Nassau County Stephen Fitzpatrick.
He added that the mother had kicked Bobby out of the house. «In anger, he climbed into the garage, where we picked up a large hammer, broke into the house through the basement door in the living room and attacked the women,» said Fitzpatrick.
At this time, the guest was another friend of the family, Bobby hurt her, but the woman managed to escape and hide in the backyard until help came. Now the victim is in hospital in stable condition.
After the triple murder Bobby Vanderhill some time was in the house, and then ran away. Police found him sleeping in the car two miles from the scene.
