The new York streets become a little safer — the police managed to find and arrest the pedophile, who recently almost raped 11-year-old girl.
44-year-old Javier Lopez Batista tried to abuse a child on Thursday at around 20:30 in the Park St Mary’s, Bronx. A native of Fordham stopped the girl near the intersection of St. Ann’s Avenue and 146th street and accosted her with questions.
The victim tried to leave, but there it was: a pedophile grabbed her hand and said that she’s not going anywhere. After these words he took off the girls pants, and she realized her chances of escape runs out every second. When the offender began to undress, she screamed, broke and ran.
In the Park, the victim found two guards and told them about the incident. Hot on the heels of law enforcement officers quickly found the culprit — at 21:00 he was already in handcuffs.
He was charged with the attempted rape of a minor victim.
After the incident the girl was taken to Montefiore Medical center with minor injuries.
