An unknown man yesterday at about 10.30 PM he jumped off the Staten Island Ferry to the North of the Statue of Liberty. This jump was recorded on-Board cameras of the ferry, which was heading from Manhattan to Staten island. That man overboard, immediately reported to the police. About half an hour the ferry was without movement, while the scene was examined by police.

Above the new York Harbor circling helicopter, the coast guard scoured the harbour, literally meter by meter, however, until Friday morning a man jumped out and failed to detect.
