In Brooklyn, a garbage truck crashed into 12 cars (video)

After the incident, which occurred at the beginning of this week, some residents of the Brooklyn area of Williamsburg, may decide to Park their cars along the curb on Nostrand Avenue.

After all, there are about six Monday morning the garbage truck, owned by Crown Container, raced at high speed past the parked cars, crashing in 12 of them.

Representatives of the company on garbage removal have already contacted some of the owners of the damaged cars. For example, Miguel Ríos, the van is now without a door, offered compensation in the amount of $5,300.

Kendall Christiansen, Executive Director of New Yorkers for Responsible Waste Management, organizations representing more than a dozen private companies for garbage collection, said on behalf of the leadership Crown Container the following:

“We are very sorry about the damage that was done to our truck, and grateful that no one was hurt. We are trying to contact owners of vehicles to pay for the damage caused. We conduct a thorough investigation into the incident. The driver of the truck was removed for the time until the end of the investigation. We have taken steps to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.”
