On Monday a letter with a powdery substance of unknown origin has caused quite a stir among the employees of the Sheriff’s Department of riverside County.
A suspicious envelope was discovered in the building on lemon street, at 8:25 a.m., and immediately alerted officials. According to a press release of the Ministry, the building was evacuated — none of the contacts of the letter people do not notice any symptoms, but as a precaution, seven people were sent to hospital for examination.
At the scene arrived firemen from the brigade of the liquidators of the consequences of technological disasters with hazardous substances. Examining the contents of the letter, they determined that it’s just unbleached flour.
When it became clear that it was a false alarm, the staff allowed to return to work.
Perhaps the intention of the attackers was to distract the police. Currently the case is under investigation.
