California has all chances to become a second Amsterdam. After marijuana in the Golden state want to legalize psilocybin — the active ingredient of hallucinogenic mushrooms.
A proposal put forward Kevin P. Saunders, candidate for mayor of Marina, Monterey County. On 22 August he presented the initiative «about modification in California the Statute of the amendment exempting adults from 21 years of age from criminal liability for the use of psilocybin«.
Such a step a lot of supporters, but will they suffice to ensure that the process went? Before the innovation will make the total vote, the initiative must collect 365 signatures.
Saunders is convinced that the bill would be a logical step after the lifting of the ban on cannabis.
