Trump is going to cancel one of the programmes for the protection of illegal immigrants

President Donald trump intends to abandon the program of protection against the deportation of migrants who illegally brought to the United States as children (DACA).

According to sources, the President may announce tomorrow, 5 September, giving Congress six months to develop alternative solutions to the problems. However, one of the interlocutors Politico said that trump still may change his mind.

The program DACA was introduced by the administration of the last President, Barack Obama. It protects against immediate deportation of almost 800 thousand people, which became known as the «generation of dreams» or «dreamers.» DACA allows these people to work in the U.S. legally.

Most of them come from Mexico and Latin America. Most often they were brought to the United States when they were very young, and most of the life these migrants spent in the United States, cutting all ties with the homeland.

During the election campaign, Donald trump has promised to immediately abandon this program, but faced stiff opposition.
So, the speaker of the house of representatives, Republican Paul Ryan called on trump to cancel the program. Ryan said that Congress should find a way to protect these people.

Steve king, a Republican Congressman from Iowa, also expressed the hope that the programme should be continued.

According to Reuters, support the program and leading businessmen of the United States, for example, CEO of Facebook Inc mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Microsoft , Satya Allotment.

California is home to more than 200 million people covered under the program, and another 100 thousand in Texas. A lot of «dreamers» in new York, Illinois and Florida.
