In new York city offer to install 750 of the cameras, controlling the vehicle speed in school zones

Mayor bill de Blasio finally heard by the state legislators. Democrats Jose Peralta, Deborah Glick and Jeffrey Klein introduced City Council bill to another 750 cameras that can detect the speed of movement of vehicles will be installed near schools throughout new York to improve pedestrian safety on the roads.

Camera controlling the speed of transport, are part of a campaign to ensure the safety of the streets Blasio Vision Zero, intended to reduce mortality among pedestrians.

The mayor stated that in the period from 2010 to 2014 17009 people in new York were killed or seriously injured as a result of various accidents and car accidents. While 15% of them got in an accident in a school zone during school hours.
