The organizers apologized and hastened to explain the situation to problems with the delivery. The pizza was supposed to drive every half hour, but something clearly went wrong. Deceived lovers pizza quickly teamed up, organizing a group in Facebook called «victims of fraud in the festival of pizza» (Pizza Festival Scam Victims). They openly accused the organizers of fraud and demand the money they spent on tickets.

The complaints attracted the attention of the district attorney, Eric Schneiderman, and on Monday the Prosecutor’s office began to investigate this case.

The organizer of the festival, Ishmael Osekre accuses the company Hangry Garden, which was to help to hold the festival, that its representatives are not allowed to start the event on time. In turn, one of the owners Hangry Garden, Jeremy Asgari, said that his company was engaged exclusively in the provision of furniture and entertainment festival of pizza. However, the problem with OneCare began to appear long before the actual festival. The day of the event the organizers have not paid Hangry Garden, and it was then that the leaders of the company made the decision to deny them services.

Asgari told the Gothamist that when his men arrived at the scene, in the Parking lot, there was nothing that should have similar festival. Moreover, there is not present the stated restaurants. It turned out that the festival organizers could not find anyone who would agree to take part, so they just decided to order a pizza on the spot. It is therefore not surprising that the visitors spoke of «the festival» as a mere nightmare.

It should be noted that this is not the first failure of the festival Osekre, last year the same thing happened with the festival of African food.
