Russian cyber-criminal and the son of the Deputy of the state Duma, 33-year-old Roman Seleznyov, was sentenced to 14 years in prison in the United States.
This was reported on the website of the Ministry of justice.
Today’s sentence Seleznev applies to criminal cases of fraud against him in Nevada and Georgia.
Previously, the state of Washington sentenced a man to 27 years in prison. Sentences will not be summed, but to be served concurrently.
Roman Seleznev has pleaded guilty to that since January 2009 he became a member of an organized group of crooks Carder.su kidnaps funds with credit cards. The damage from his activities is estimated at 51 million dollars.
