Prosecutors in two States are suing trump

The attorney General of the state of Maryland and the district of Columbia intend to file a lawsuit against the President of the United States Donald trump, accusing him of violating anti-corruption laws.

According to CNN, prosecutors allege that trump violated the provisions of the Constitution of the United States «on remuneration», which prohibits state officials from receiving gifts, cash and other bonuses from foreign governments without permission from Congress.

According to prosecutors in the corruption scheme includes a hotel of the President in Washington, as well as its worldwide network of hotels, Golf courses and other commercial facilities.

If a Federal judge decides to proceed with the case, prosecutors will require trump to provide the court with copies of his personal tax returnsto assess the scale of its foreign trade.
