The administration of President Donald trump introduced new requirements for the 38 countries participating in the visa waiver program in USA.

Visa Waiver Program allows citizens of mainly European countries to travel to the United States for up to 90 days without a visa. The citizens of 38 countries only need to obtain a permission to enter the United States.

Today, December 15, the administration trump has decided to tighten the rules for visa-free entry. For example, the United States will require VWP countries to check their travelers in a databasecreated by USA to fight against terrorism if they come back from third world countries.

Another change will be that if travellers exceed the duration of stay in the country, they will no longer be able to enter the United States without a visa in the future.

The United States also will begin to assess guarantee each VWP country at the expense of «insider threats» in their airports, especially for States that have direct flights to America.

The purpose of this requirement is to ensure that countries made sure that the staff at their airport and aviation workers incorruptible and will not jeopardize the aircraft. So the administration wanted to strengthen the security of its citizens.

According to the LA Times, about 20 million people a year travel to the U.S. program that allows you to stay up to 90 days without a visa.
