«Kaspersky lab» has filed a lawsuit against the administration trump

The Moscow-based developer of anti-virus programs «Kaspersky’s Laboratory» has filed a lawsuit in Federal U.S. district court (district of Columbia) on the administration of the President of the trump. The company claims that the us government has caused significant damage to the interests of business, forbidding the use of company products in government agencies of the United States. Filed a lawsuit, according to Reuters, is the latest effort of the company in an attempt to prove that she is not controlled by the Kremlin.

The Department of homeland security in September issued a Directive, which imposes a ban on the use of the software «Kaspersky Lab» on the computers of Federal agencies. The removal was allocated 90 days. The decision was made amid concerns of the Department about what may be contributing to Russian espionage and threatening national security of the United States.

The injunction was confirmed at the legislative level. Last week President trump has signed a law banning the use of the company’s products for civilian and military US government.

«The Department of homeland security have tarnished the reputation of «Kaspersky Lab» and canceled commercial operations without any evidence of wrongdoing by the company,» said company founder Eugene Kaspersky in an open letter published on Monday.

The CEO also noted that the ban together with the attack of the American media have a global effect. «The extent of the damage yet to be assessed in subsequent years, and while I devote a significant part of their working time to tell our customers the real background of the events», — he wrote in his blog.

«The decision of the Ministry of internal security of the United States is a dangerous precedent that could be used for illegal restriction of any honest business. It is hypocrisy that is part of the dissonance with the declared rights and freedoms and other democratic principles. It is an action which cannot be left without reaction. So we go to court,» concluded Kaspersky.

The Department of homeland security has not yet commented on the claim filed.
