The decree was signed by trump in October and immediately provoked protests, including in front of the White house. According to the October decree, if the head, for example, believes that birth control is contrary to its religious principles, its employees insurance will not cover the purchase of birth control pills and other contraceptives.

Opponents of this decision argued that it would entail an increase in the number of unplanned pregnancies and consequently, abortions.

Earlier, before the court in California, a Federal judge in Pennsylvania adopted a similar decision on the disputed decree of the trump.

As reported Сourthouse News, California attorney General Xavier Becerra welcomed the court’s decision.

«The law could not be clearer: a woman, not her boss, and, of course, not a politician, should decide what is best for her own health,» said Becerra. «This court ruling will serve as another reminder of the administration trump: the rule of law applies to everyone, no matter how high your rank».

The representative of the Ministry of justice Lauren Arsham said that the presidential administration does not agree with the decision of the courts of California and Pennsylvania.

«This administration protects the religious freedom of all Americans and expects the same from the courts,» said Arsham.
