For the consideration of the legislature of the state of California presented a bill to extend the time of the sale of alcohol in some cities in the state until 4 am. The initiator of the bill – Senator of San Francisco Scott Wiener. A similar bill has already been considered by the relevant Committee in the past year, but not without getting approval, and has not been voted on.
The document proposes the creation of a five-year pilot programme covering 6 cities: San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, Sacramento, West Hollywood and long beach. They plan to allow the sale of alcohol in bars, restaurants and Nightclubs to 4 a.m. (currently, the law allows trade in alcohol until 2am). Today in the United States, the sale of alcohol after 2 a.m. is allowed in such cities as Chicago, Washington, new York, Buffalo, Las Vegas, Louisville, Atlanta, Miami beach and New Orleans.
