Activists demand from the authorities of coupons for pet food

Pets of low income owners do not have to stay hungry. This convinced Edward B Johnson Jr. 59-year-old resident of Mississippi created a petition urging officials to incorporate in the Us preferential buying program food (SNAP) animal feed.

«Some believe that people should not keep Pets if they cannot afford them. But the fact is that the family’s financial situation can change at any time. Do those who have fell on a rainy day, he must abandon his beloved pet, who lived with them under one roof for many years?»- asks the author of the petition.

His ideas were supported by thousands of like-minded people. Today a petition signed by 89 of 706 people — still 204 signatures and it gets sent to the recipients.

Note that under current law, benefits for food program SNAP do not apply alcohol, pet food, vitamins and medicines, energy drinks are no data about the nutritional value of custom expensive confectionery and decorative pumpkins for decor.
