The feds stuck all 16 pages of the shredder Cohen

FBI agents collected 16 shredded pages which were extracted in April from shredder Michael Cohen. On Friday, 15 June, reported Reuters, citing a statement by the court.

The U.S. attorney’s office for about a year investigating the professional activities of private counsel to trump, Michael Cohen for fraud and possible Russian interference in presidential elections in 2016. So, in April during a search at office, home and hotel room Cohen was seized not only the technology (computer and phones), but also shredded the documents (16 pages) that FBI agents took from the paper shredder — the shredder.

On Friday prosecutors announced that they had glued all 16 pages. Thanks to this hard work were able to recover information that has not been disclosed. In addition, managed to retrieve confiscated phones , Michael Cohen over 700 pages of encrypted messages, including call logs, which were transferred with the help of instant messengers WhatsApp and Signal.

Earlier, Cohen said that most of the seized materials falls under the Attorney-Client Privilege — i.e., attorney-client privilege, guarantee the confidentiality of any conversations between client and lawyer.

Retired judge Barbara Jones, invited as experts, observed the viewing of the confiscated material to determine that it can be considered attorney-client privilege. In its report it noted that only a small part of the materials may be considered confidential or «highly personal».

All materials transmitted to the lawyers, Michael Cohen for the study. Their defendant while the charges were pending.

Michael Avenatti, counsel for porn actress Stormy Daniels, in his Twitter said that the restored documents and, particularly, an encrypted message can provide a fairly big problem not only for Cohen but for President Donald trump.
