«It would be unbearable to endure this humiliation all the time of flight across the country, so we left the plane, wrote the man. I can’t believe that in our time the airline came in infringement of the [rights] gay heterosexuals so far that asked us to leave.»

I have never been so discriminated against while traveling before. I was removed from an Alaska Airlines flight # 1407…

Rusa LGBT co-President Alexei Gorshkov told USA.one, which is usual in such cases, it is possible to file a lawsuit for discrimination, in addition to complaints about the airline. «The denial of equal service, regardless of identity, is a violation of rights, especially if the couple is convinced that this was done on the basis of prejudice against their sexual orientation,» said the activist.

In June the debate about discrimination has acquired a national scale, when the U.S. Supreme court ruled in favor of a pastry chef from Colorado, refused to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple. A similar situation occurred in Oregon, but in this state, the court sided with a lesbian couple and ordered the owners of the bakery to pay the victims $135 thousand.
