The number of illegal immigrants detained on the border between the United States and Canada, increased by 142%

From 2017 the number of detained while trying to illegally cross the U.S.-canadian border increased by 142%.

For the first half of 2018, the Border service (Customs and Border Protection) has arrested 445 people attempting to enter the U.S. from Canada. In the same period of 2017 while illegally crossing the Northern border were detained 184 people.
