According to the Executive Committee for immigration Affairs, the guy will be more likely to stay in the States legally. First, many immigration advocates provide free assistance to children who are not supervised. Secondly, over the last 3 years 40% of these children from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras received permission to stay in the US (compared to 19% of children from these countries who were together with parents), Reuters reports.
