A former employee of the Charleston police (South Carolina) Daniel Hiers, who was on the run for 13 years, is now in detention in Shanghai, reports Live 5 News. In the territory of China, he lived under an assumed name, David Williams.

Police in Goose Creek said that in 2005, Hiers shot his wife in their own home. For 13 years, his photos appeared regularly in television programmes and on posters, «they wanted by police.» The marshals did not lose hope to find the killer, who was in the top 15 most wanted fugitives.
