Yesterday, December 11, Texas executed a 43-year-old Alvin Brazile, who in 1993 shot and killed a resident of Dallas and raped his wife.

Sentenced was pronounced dead at 19.19 local time. He was executed with a lethal injection chamber at the state prison in Huntsville.
On the question of the warden if he had anything to say before punishment, Brazil thanked all the people «in the U.S. and abroad — Italy, France — in support of the prisoners sentenced to death».

Alvin Brasil was sentenced to death in 2001 for attempted armed robbery, murder and rape.
On the evening of 21 September 1993, Douglas and Laura white went on a campus in Ostfeldzug College in Dallas, when suddenly out of the bushes came Brasil. Threatening couple with gun, he demanded money, which the young people did not have. Then the robber shot and killed Douglas and raped Laura.
The case for a long time remained unsolved until 7 years later Brazil is not caught for another rape. His DNA matched what was collected at the crime scene in Dallas.
Lawyers of the condemned have repeatedly filed appeals with the request to replace the death penalty with life imprisonment. Protection insisted on the fact that Brazil is mentally retarded. But all appeals were rejected by multiple courts, including the Supreme court of the United States in 2016.
With the beginning of 2018, Alvin Brasil became the 13th inmate executed in Texas and 24th in the USA.
