The President of the United States Donald trump signed an Executive order that provides Federal employees the day off this Christmas Eve. On Christmas eve people will be able to relax, or to prepare for the celebration of Christmas.
As published on the White house website, the order says that «All Executive bodies and agencies of the Federal government shall be closed and their employees are released from duties on Monday, 24 December 2018, the day before Christmas.»
Some output will not affect if their job involves safety or there is such a need: «the Heads of Executive departments and agencies may decide that certain offices and facilities of their organizations, or parts thereof, must remain open and that certain employees must report their duties 24 December 2018 for reasons of national security, defence or other needs».
In addition, the President and First lady of the United States published their official Christmas photo. Photos were taken in the Cross hall of the White house on Saturday during the ball of Congress. Many criticized the Christmas decoration of the White house, particularly the red tree. But Melanie trump in reply said that we live in the 21st century when we all have different tastes, current decoration and «look fantastic».
